SustainEd Farms - Denver, CO

SustainEd Farms creates and manages farms and gardens on school campuses. Through hands-on learning experiences, we teach students about nutrition and sustainability. All produce grown with students on our farms goes back to the community to create a more food-just Denver. SustainEd Farms is built on sustainable farming practices, equal access to knowledge and resources, rigorous experiential instruction, and community engagement. We are growing and learning in Denver Public Schools and around the Denver area.

The mission of Crossroads for Women is to provide comprehensive, integrated services to empower women emerging from incarceration to achieve safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives in the community, for themselves and their children.

Homeward Alliance - Fort Collins, COlorado

 Homeward Alliance operates a continuum of programs and initiatives, ranging from critical survival gear, to employment services, to homelessness prevention. We are not only an alliance of services, but also an alliance of volunteers, donors, agency partners and other community stakeholders. We envision a community in which homelessness is rare, short-lived and non-recurring.


Urban Peak - Colorado Springs, Colorado

Urban Peak Colorado Springs ignites the potential in youth to exit homelessness and create self-determined, fulfilled lives. Our shelter, street outreach and housing programs reached nearly 700 youth last year in the Pikes Peak Region. Located in downtown Colorado Springs, UPCS employs 24 people, and our programs operate on a budget of approximately $1.8 million annually.

The youth served at the shelter come from a variety of backgrounds, and we strive to be a safe community for all youth, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, class, educational background, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability status.

The Center on Colfax - Denver, Colorado

The Center on Colfax opened in 1976 has grown to become the largest LGBTQ community center in the Rocky Mountain region, giving voice to Colorado's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community and playing a pivotal role in statewide initiatives to reduce harassment and discrimination. Today we are focused on fulfilling our mission by ensuring that every member of the LGBTQ community has access to the programs and resources they need to live happy, healthy, and productive lives.

The Center currently operates on an annual budget of $2.3 million, employs 19 staff members, and utilizes more than 550 community volunteers to serve more than 47,000 people each year.
